How your customers' documents and business data are kept
Customers hand you their driver's license because they have to. This page explains plainly what CarRentSaaS does to protect it, and what it does not claim.

What we do
Your business data stays separate
Each rental business has its own workspace. Bookings, customers, vehicles and settings belong to one business and are not visible to any other business on CarRentSaaS.
Roles decide who sees what
The business owner and managers have different access. Staff only see the areas their role allows, so a team member does not need the owner's login.
Customer documents
Customers upload IDs, driver's licenses and payment proofs to the booking. You review them from your dashboard, and they stay attached to that booking.
Passwords and sign-in
Account passwords are stored hashed, never as plain text. Sign-in pages are protected against repeated guessing.
Encrypted connections
The website and dashboard are served over HTTPS, so data between your browser and CarRentSaaS is encrypted in transit.
Backups
The database is backed up daily to separate off-site storage, with recent copies kept so a bad day does not mean lost bookings.
Your payments
CarRentSaaS records payments and proofs against each booking. Customers pay you directly through the methods you set up, such as GCash, bank transfer or your payment gateway.
Activity records
Important actions are logged and kept for the period your plan includes.
What we do not claim
CarRentSaaS does not currently hold a formal security certification, and we do not promise that no system can ever be breached. We keep the product up to date and fix problems when we find them.
Your part matters too: use a strong password, remove staff accounts when people leave, and only collect the documents you need.
Security questions
Is customer data safe on CarRentSaaS?
Each business's data is kept separate from every other business, access is controlled by role, passwords are stored hashed, connections use HTTPS, and the database is backed up daily to off-site storage.
Where are customers' IDs and driver's licenses stored?
They are uploaded to the booking they belong to and are visible only to people on your team who have access to bookings.
Do you hold a security certification?
No. CarRentSaaS does not currently hold a formal security certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2. This page describes what the product does today.
Can I export or delete my data?
You can export bookings and reports as CSV on plans that include it. Contact us if you want your data removed after cancelling.
