Coupons and promo codes: create, limit and track them

Create a coupon

1. Open Coupons in your dashboard and choose Add Coupon. It is available on plans that include Coupons.
2. Enter the code customers will type, and an internal name for yourself.
3. Choose the discount type and value.
4. Add any limits below, then save. Turn it off or on any time with the toggle.

Rules you can set

• Minimum and maximum booking amount.
• Dates it is valid, applied to either the booking date or the rental dates.
• A total usage limit and a limit per customer.
• Rental option, such as self-drive, and which vehicles or vehicle types it covers.
• Auto-apply, so the discount is applied without the customer typing a code.

Stacking

Choose whether a coupon can share a booking with another: on its own, only with the coupons you pick, or with any coupon except the ones you pick. Both coupons have to agree.

Who can manage coupons

Admin and Manager. Staff can use bookings but not create coupons.

Coupons or discounts?

Coupons are codes for a customer to enter. Flexible discounts lower the daily rate automatically for longer rentals, and seasonal rates change the price for holidays and busy periods.
