Security and data: how documents and business data are kept
Each business's data is kept separate from every other business, access is controlled by role, connections use HTTPS and the database is backed up daily to off-site storage. CarRentSaaS holds no formal security certification, and says so.

Customer IDs and licenses
They are uploaded to the booking they belong to and are visible only to team members who have access to bookings. You approve or reject them from your dashboard.
Who on your team sees what
Owners and managers have different access, and staff only see the areas their role allows. Remove staff accounts when people leave.
Backups and your data
The database is backed up daily to separate storage. You can export bookings and reports as CSV on plans that include it, and you can contact us to have your data removed after you cancel.
What we do not claim
No formal certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, and no promise that a system can never be breached. Use a strong password and only collect the documents you need.

Can other rental businesses see my customers?
No. Bookings, customers, vehicles and settings belong to one business and are not visible to any other business on CarRentSaaS.
Where are my customers' IDs and licenses stored?
